What's a crazy, pie-in-the-sky dream you have?
To create something, product or service, in the field of sustainability. To impact they way things are produced, and to help the planet to heal from all the damage we have done. To start changing the way we consume products.
What led you to become a designer?
Because I want to change the world. To change the physicality of the world, how we interact with objects and with people through objects. I've realized that achieving this is really hard but I'll not give up
What is your design philosophy?
To create experiences that enrich people lives. That feeling when you use something so well designed that you don't think of design and you just enjoy the product.
What inspires you (in design or in life)?
Inspired by nature, Monterrey is a city surrounded by mountains and natural reserves and I take a lot of inspiration from them. I am are also fasicanted about human behaivor, why people do the things they do, and how they do them. I believe there is a lot of information from observation, taking our time to see every single detail to fully understand something. I celebrate mistakes and failures because they are an indication I am getting somewhere new
