Home 🤍

We were working together with @gantri developing the Granada collection for more than two years. We started with some sketches and then we moved forward to paper models, 3D renderings, more mockups and, at the end, 3d printed prototypes. During this long process we were defining all the details and proportions until we reached the desired results.

El proceso de diseño y desarrollo de la colección de lámparas Granada, diseñada para @gantri, empezó hace más de 2 años. Durante este tiempo se fue pasando de bocetos a maquetas de papel, renders, más maquetas y al final prototipos impresos en 3D. Todo esto nos permitió ir definiendo todos los detalles y proporciones de las piezas hasta llegar al resultado final.

the granada collection, created on @gantri, is inspired by the city of granada. the shapes and features are based on the pomegranates, symbol of the city. however, even the colors of the lights are taken from the city. sedona red, sand and stone are colors that can be found around the alhambra.

Taking its name from the city in which Carlos spent bits of his childhood, Granada Collection takes center stage. These geometric diffusers were inspired by the artisanal lights that line the streets of Granada – paying homage to the historic art of lamp making. The new Granada Wall and Table Lights effortlessly bring the warmth of the Mediterranean to any space.

These geometric designs explore a contemporary look at classic Spanish design. Each diffuser can be placed upside down or right side up, giving you two designs in one light. When lit, a ribbed pattern is revealed, similar to an iconic paper lantern.This thoughtful detail combined with the earthy, warm tones create the minimal, Mediterranean aesthetic Carlos intended.
